I seem to be running into occasional freezups in Windows XP.
I didn't notice until the first time it happened, when WinXP told me after rebooting that it seems to be my display driver. Well, I loaded the newest drivers (Elsa Gladiac Ultra) but it still happens once in a while.
Here is my suspicion: The on-board NIC and my video card are sharing IRQ 5. I know IRQ sharing is theoretically supposed to work, but I don't feel very comfortable knowing that the 2 devices I use more than anything are sharing an IRQ. However, it will not let me change any settings on the device manager.
Any thoughts?
