Interesting question I just thought up (about theft)

Lets say you are inside a store, and an accomplice is outside the doors, off store property. If you take an object, open the doors, and throw it outside off the property of the store, and he takes it and runs away with it, who gets arrested, and for what?

Technically, you didn't take an object out of the store, so you didn't steal.
He didn't take anything off the property, he merely found something, so neither did he.

So what happens?

ummmm....that is kind of a dumb question (no offense). The intention was to steal, it they stole. End of story. Both would get arrested becuase they were both involved.

i get reaally bored at times and start thinking on random subjects.

alright, I'll share another one.
I was watching on the Discovery channel about how stores often put hidden cameras on shelves hidden in like boxes and such as another way of combatting theft.

if they're hiding the cameras in product boxes, what if someone happens to buy it one day? Does the store stop him from buying it or does he get a free hidden camera?
