Interesting problem-suggestions?

Well, for me it is: I cannot get Steam to install on my SSD, no matter what I try (and I've tried everything their tech support has suggested via several email exchanges). However, just for laughs I popped in an old SATA2 Deathstar drive, formatted it during a fresh install of Win7, and Steam installed like butter. Now I think I'll have to do a reinstall of the OS on my M4 just to see if the problem lies with the drive. If it fails to install, I have no idea what to try next. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I frankly am stumped. TIA.

Trim is enabled, but not sure what you mean by how it is setup to rewrite. I'm not aware of anyway to affect this. In any case, would such a thing differ between drive types?

EDIT: Well, the solution turned out to be ridiculously easy. I just copied the Steam install folder over to my SSD, fired it up, and viola!
