Had a friend bring a computer over tonight that he bought from some girl at one of the dorms on campus. She sold him the computer for $100 (celeron 1.2, 128mb ram, 30gb hd, 17" flat screen) because the techs at BB told her several things were wrong. The supposed problems included a bad mb, bad ram, and a botched ghost attempt. Best Buy quoted her $300 for repairs. After attempting to run the restore disks once and receiving a Norton Ghost error, I decided to do a fresh install of Win2k.

As payment for that fresh install I got a case of Corona and $100 cash. 🙂
