As I've been exposed to some rather toxic chemicals of later, I went to get one of those respitory style masks to keep from breathing in said chemicals. While there I ran into a guy with a parrot on his shoulder. Unfortunatly, he didn't have a peg leg or eyepatch and never said "arrrr, matey!"

I thought the bird might have had its' wings clipped. Nope. Just very well behaved the guy told me hes' had it for 8 years and despite what everyone has told him, the parrot does not need any coaxing to stay on him while occasionally shifting from shoulder to shoulder and "talking" to him.

He did warn me not to touch him, or the bird WOULD fly away.
