Interesting Pattern i've noticed

Pigeons aren't scared of us at all! Theyre all over the place and barely move if you're walking. The second a little-tyke comes on the scene they scatter. I wonder what the common knowlage is amongst birds, the big ones are safe but you have to be weary of the little guys? Serious.

This one time, a flock of pigeons flew out in front of my car... maybe 20+... I ended up hitting about 2 or 3 of them, and as soon as it happened, this b1tch in a minivan driving next to me started scowling at me. I half thought she'd flip me off. I was like, "WTF? The birds flew out in front of me... I didn't swerve up onto the median to hit them."

The only time I ever creamed a pigeon, was back when I was a new driver, I didn't really brake for it, and the square point of my front right fender (I was in a 1991 Nissan Pickup) probably gave the bird a nice pierced lung.

"Little tykes" tend to be touchy, grabby, obnoxious little bastards. They're more likely to walk closer to the pigeons and try to mess around with them. Their movements are also more unpredictable than an adult walking in a straight line. For these reasons it is only natural for a "little tyke" to make a pigeon paranoid. It's very probable that pigeons in a city learn these things.

Pigeons somehow know that the majority of adults are not going to chase them around the park in circles with the sole intent of kicking them.
