Interesting one, not strictly a PC related question

Basically, we want to cool a radar head to 0C. The contact area we'd use on the back is a similar area to half a floppy disk, but square.

The head gives off next to no heat (obviously it will technically give off some, but I don't think it will be a relevant amount)

Now, first thoughts for cooling it to 0 and still have it useable would be a peltier of some description, so, anyone got any opinions on a reasonable peltier cooling solution? One designed for a CPU would do (I'm presuming they exist...) we're happy to hack that thing onto the back somehow.

Obviously I'll be Googling this, but if anyone has any advice, it would be appreciated.

EDIT:

No matter.
Solution

Remember that you're also going to have to find some way to cool the hot side of the peltier. If this is done incorrectly it can actually heat up the cold side. Many a CPU have been destroyed when inproperly cooled pelts heat up instead of cool the CPU.
