1 Gold was won by the hockey team in the famous "Miracle on Ice"

Yes, while one medal was won in a team sport (greatest thing ever if you were a kid back then!!!) 5 golds were won by one man and it is but a footnote in history.

No - All of the current world records for those events were set at the Salt Lake City Olympics.
