I just noticed that the date will be:

10/01/2002

first: the month and date portion will be half of the year value

second: both the month/date and the year portions are palendrones.

I believe the next time both these conditions will be 220 years and 41 days later on 11/11/2222.

"I have amazing powers of observation.
And that is how I know,
When I try to get through on the telephone,
There will be nobody home."

And if you add together the date of the third day of every week in October, divide it by 911, the numbers of the answer correspond with the letters of the alphabet spelling "GWBUSH"...umm...uh...or something like that. :D

you mean all the digits or all the numbers? 'Cuz if you mean numbers then it's not too far, in fact 1/1/03 is what you are looking for. However, if you mean all the digits in the date then that's not gonna happen very soon. Maybe not before 1/1/3111 (if you consider zero to be an even number, that is).

Actually it wouldn't be TEN-ober, but december, since DEC stands for 10 and OCT stands for 8. But we already have December.

The reason they are screwed up? Originally they were in the right place, but the calendar was wrong. I think it had the wrong number of days and things were getting royally screwed up where things occured in the year.

So they added two months, July and August. July is for Julius Ceaser and August is for Augustine (never could remember the surname). Or at least thats what I've been told.

So there you go. Another little factoid for the day.

heheh silly child! surely you jest if you are suggesting that 20/02/2002 was a more amazing date than 10/01/2002

First, 20/02/2002 is a non-standard date format that while may be used sometimes, would get you into a lot of trouble if used all the time. For instance, if I told you I will send you $1000 if you run around the nearest public water fountain naked on 06 11 2002, you would know if I meant november 6th or June 11th. In fact, you would probably assume June 11th. 10/01/2002 follows the US standard (i don't care if you live outside the country).

Second, conditions met by 20/02/2002 will be replicated by 21/12/2112. A mere 111 years from now. As mentioned in the original post, the conditions met by 10/01/2002 won't be replicated for another 220 years.

:p*ptttthp*:p

ps. please note the subtle sacrasm in the original post and all subsequent replies (except yours).

yamaha, what you call standard is nonstandard in places where the standard in standard and nonstandard is your standard.
