My take: My entire experience with the internals of Dell systems involves desktops. Such a device could easily have been present in them without my knowledge as it would logically be on the reverse face of the mainboard. In a desktop, you don't usually remove the entire mobo. In a laptop, you generally do. Anyone have a 600m they wanna take apart?

The open source community would have found this long ago. Also, I do enough network sniffing on my network to know if something like this is being sent to Dell, so this is bogus. Besides, Dell would simply include it on the PCB and never risk being caught with some shoddy contraption like this inside their hardware.

Repost if this is the keylogger thing. Nik brought up a good point on the pics. Those look like professional pics you'd take from a hardware site, and the other pic is blurry out of focus yet it's at about the same distance.
