A coworker just sent me this website with results from a 2002 Harvard dialect survey. It appears to be web-only but there was a pretty large number of votes gathered from the U.S. so it's reasonably accurate.

It's funny to read some of the things that I never realized was Midwest-oriented, and to see other dialects like how people in Texas and other areas in the south call all soda "Coke".

Around where I am now, I get a lot of rib from the locals b/c of the way they mispronounce certain things:
DeKalb sounds like "De Kayelb"
Fayette sounds like "Fahyet"

Carey rhymes with Hairy, actually. My fiancee's sister is named Carey. It's like Care + eee.
Harry has the long A. Like in Aaaaaaa. haaaaaaa-reee

Carey rhymes with Hairy.

H-A-rry. Certainly not like 'hairy'. But then I've been told I have a VERY New England accent (Minus the dropped Rs of Boston, thank you very much).

No way. Jim Carey's last name is not said "Cairy", it's said like Harry. Your sister's fiancee might pronounce it that way, but if I were to see it in print, I would assume that's said like "Harry".

 
#96 is interesting, just 7.76% answer the way it is defined in the dictionary. Dinner is the biggest meal of the day, and supper is the meal after dinner.

I used to call it "supper" until some guy in a chat room (I was young at the time) made fun of me for calling it that. Ever since then, I've called it dinner.

I generally use them both for the evening meal, but if pressed, I would say that dinner is the midday meal, and supper the evening one. But usually I just call the midday meal 'lunch'.
