Interesting gmail login name response

After asking for 'anandtech' for a username, it says 'raghunath chatterjee' is not available..

Is that the guys name who took it? Interesting....

it's a bug in gmail. I was trying to register argo and it said something about "Some OTher Strange Name" is not available. I tried again and it worked.

I got that with mine for a full day, finally wrote gmail support and they said that my user name/account never existed. Complete B.S.

I got another invite and tried to use my same user name Gmail told me they had no record of and when I tried it said I couldn't use that user name because it was already taken.

Oh, well its beta and free.

You can't register a name that is less than 6 characters long.
