Here's an interesting thought: The future president of the USA could be jerking off on a webcam right this second. Think about that for a sec. Digital photography/webcams/filesharing/etc have been pretty ubiquitious for, say, the past two years (and yes, you've had a digital cam since 1973, but we're not talking about you, Mister Uber L33t geek, we're talking about middle America). Which means anyone who's, say, 15 now or younger is going to live their ENTIRE lives in an era where webcams and all of that ("sex tapes", cybering) is common.
So the point? What effect, if any, do you think this is going to have on the future of politics? I mean, doesn't seem entirely possible that some who has political aspirations would have cybered with their girlfriend (or someone who they thought was a girl) and that could resurface 30 years later? Or do you think that'll become so common that the people who do that (and get exposed) will just not progress a certain point? Or some other possibility?
