Just curious, ran into an interesting problem with installing a floppy on my NF7-S V2 so I can install SATA drives to install WindowsXP Pro.
The floppy cable has one hole filled in to make sure you use the appropriate end of the cable, and I have six different motherboards in this house and every single one of them are missing one (and in some cases more) pin so that the floppy cable will fit.. the NF7-S V2 does not. Oddly, there are no missing pins so I cannot hook up the floppy drive.
Would it be safe to just take a pair of needle pliers and break the pin off? Seems odd they would do this.
