Interesting Find in my system found in Sandra...help?

Alrighty guys I fixed my slow boot problem with my ASUS A7v by updating the bios and it helped it out by 50% now the lag/hold is not in the very last session of the POST but its during the IRQ check and all that jazz, I run SISOFT Sandra and I find this...

BRIDGECOM INC (UNKNOWN) (0985) PCI LATENCY TOO HIGH MAY HOG SYSTEM BUS...

could this be my source of error if so wtf is it!?

P.S How do I know what version detonator drivers Im running..I check under my properties of my VGA adapter it syas like 4.1.2 or sumtin I think...just wanna make sure I installed my detonators correclty...

What do you have in your system that's made by Bridgecom, my guess is a WinModem or AMR.

Dont even have a modem in here..know AMR either I have no idea what a Bridgecom is.......I have a LINKSYS 10/100 NIC a Gulliemont Muse soundcard (not much I know) for PCI that is it...

I suspect you are using Sandra 6.49? Upgrade to the newest version. The old one reported the bus speed incorrectly.

Do you have a NIC? Did you assign an IP?

Did you set Plug and Play OS to NO in BIOS? Also, you might want to assign the slots you have filled an IRQ manually in bios.

I have
slot 1 = empty (shares with AGP)
slot 2 = NIC = IRQ 3
slot 3 = SB Live = IRQ 4
slot 4 = Modem = IRQ 5

This arrangement seems to work the best for me.

You want to do a search for two files also if you haven't already. They like to mess up Geforce cards at boot and give an annoying pause at desktop in any system.

Delete or rename: drvwppt.vxd and drvw117.vxd

Do a search (FIND) for drvw and they will show up if present.

If you havn't done this already, this little proggy will give you the straight skinny:Boot Log Analyzer. Btw, a quick search on Excite shows that Bridgecom Inc is messenging stuff. Check it here: Bridgecom. Maybe this is something leftover from a previous install.
