Interesting facts about Shoe Stores

After having worked in one for awhile, you learn alot that you didn't know before. Just like Serving at restaurants was a totally new experience, the shoe store was also. I won't name the one I worked for, I'll just say they love the color orange.

1. You would not believe how inconsiderate some assholes are, just like all places.

2. If you really want to piss off the employees, start switching their displays, or mixing a few sizes up in the boxes. In 2 minutes you can give them about a 2 hour headache with ease.

3. Our store had 600 pairs of shoes stolen in 1 year. Nobody was ever caught, we had no security system. Anyone who knows how our store operated could have literally stolen 3 pairs every few days. No joke.

4. There seems to be a shopping subculture that loves to participate in "legal theft". It really isn't hard. If no one is looking, just knock some stuff over and say the employee assaulted/threw shoe at you. Complain to manager and ask for their employee number, then start making a scene. You just made the store throw an instant sale with your name on it. Probably works at most stores.

Number four was a true story...Happened to me because the lady wouldn't believe me when I explained how the shoe I had WAS THE SAME PAIR as the one on the display...
