One of the worse signs i saw was a fat woman with a sign that read "Im hungry"

Despite the fact that you may be able to live off body fat doesn't mean that your body isn't hungry.

So you have sympathy for her?

I saw it on TV a while back where they were exposing a panhandler that has a good paying full time job, owns his own apartment and a Benz.

But, but, but... People are starving in the streets! Wont somebody PLEASE think of the CHILDREN??!!?

Well to be fair, a fat person could starve to death long before they got skinny.

Not that anyone is starving to death in the US. I believe we debunked that little myth once today already.

For those that have learned something, the proper course of action is to not give money to people asking for it on the street. There are proper charities for those people that need help and those that aren't using the charities and do need the money often aren't asking for it. Panhadling is often a job, I have seen many panhandlers ride in on the bus and leave on the bus, they aren't living under the bridge and the pan hendling is a job to them.

One time in Toronto, my friend and I sat down with a homeless person and asked him what it was like. We were both from really small towns. He talked to us for a while and said he chose to be there. We bought him a pack of smokes, and he thought we were cool.

This just made me laugh! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Thanks! 😀
