I think I read somewhere that famous picture of the loch ness monster (the dark on where you can see its head popping out of the water) is a total fake and the photographer admitted to it. but then again, I might have it confused with another picture.

The so-called 'doctor' picture from 1933 is now known to be a small model and therefore is an authenticated fake. However, there are a lot more photographs that haven't been disproved. Moreover, the eyewitness reports also include sightings on the shore. Finally, the guy who tried to break the lake boating speed record certainly did not hit an illusion when his craft collided with something that was leaving a wake and literally shattered into thousands of pieces. That accident is on film since this was a world speed record attempt.

As for Bigfoot, I spent 3 days in the mid80s studying footprints and went to new sightings in the Ashland, Klamath Falls and Crater Lake areas with some geologists and anthropologists from University of Oregon in Ashland and Corvallis. I am convinced of the authenticity of the ones I examined.
