I have bought and sold many things successfully on eBay. However, IMO, you would have to be extremely naive to purchase a diamond from an unknown seller on eBay regardless of feedback.

Getting a good deal on a diamond is hard enough for the average person even when visiting dealers in person. To expect to purchase on eBay and to think you actually know what you are getting is silly. Even if the cert is legit (a big if), the most important aspect is the actually cut of the diamond, which the cert does not give you that great of an idea about. If you are going to purchase online sight unseen, you need to make sure it is from a legit place (dirtcheapdiamonds, bluenile, etc..) where an exchange or refund is no hassle.

Anyway, good work OP.
