This is interesting.
When is someone going to build an item like this that conducts heat into the case?
Whats odd is the reviewer guy uses a loud LED fan, when the whole point is silence. :)
I imagine this would work extremely well with a silent duct system.

I wonder how much of that 615g is in the base and mounting plate on the other side of the mb. This would reduce the force exerted on the motherboard. The "tower" appears to be relatively thin aluminum which wouldn't be so bad. It also mounts through the 4 holes around the socket which is more reliable.

How many "standard" cases would be able to accomodate this monster?

I have the same Idea about weight distribution also... it doesn't look that bad.
If I had one I would find a way to ziptie or screw the 'top' to whatever is above it (psu)

It should fit in any standard case... its about 5.6" tall, and most cases have a 8" width.

Looks like that bad boy is bolted to the mobo like the Thermaltake series-U heatsinks.
