Interesting conversation I had with an Intel employee..

OK, a guy who works nearby at intel dropped by my office on his lunch break today. He was picking up an Athlon XP 1600+ I sold him.

He saw my new monitor (19" flat panel - came in this morning ) and I told him it was new, along with the computer. He asked what was in the PC. I told him it was a P4 1.8

He says, "you know that this 1.4ghz chip I'm buying from you will pretty much keep up with the 1.8ghz intel chip?"

I thought that was interesting coming from a guy who works at Intel
