Interesting 'bug' on Walk the Line DVD

We rented Walk the Line on DVD (widescreen version). At precisely 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 25 seconds into the DVD, in the scene where Cash (Phoenix) is laying in the hammock looking like he hasn't slept in 2 years (after reading that June got remarried to a stock car driver), the movie A History of Violence starts playing!

There is the first 1/2 of Walk the Line on the disc, which seemlessly leads into the latter 1/2 of A History of Violence. Its a pressed DVD so someone really screwed up the glass master. lol!

Edit: changed 3/4 to 1/2, as Walk the Line runs 2 hours and 25 minutes. Changed The to A.

HAHAHAHA! Maybe 'A History of Violence' has the second half of 'Walk the Line'. Buy a copy of AHoV wherever you bought WtL. This happen to anybody else? There has to be a batch of these out that're doing this. Maybe this is the MPAA's new way to crack down on 'piracy losses' - you have to buy two DVD's to watch a movie.

sounds like it got mis-pressed. layer 1 is walk the line, layer 2 is A history of violence.
Seems like the most plausible explanation. What is most interesting is that the release date of A History of Violence on DVD is March 14, 2006.

My dear mother, who wasn't impressed at all with screwy disc but instead only wanted to see the rest of Walk the Line, took the DVD back to the rental store an hour ago and exchanged it for another. This one is OK.

According to my mum, the rental store said this was the second DVD they have found out of about 30 copies they have. They received a notice from the DVD supplier yesterday informing customers of the error.

I've got a Seal CD that was pressed with tracks from an Alan Jackson album. I tried to sell it on ebay, no one bought it =/
