Yes, said Vos, the government ought to get out of the marriage business altogether. The state has no business encouraging citizens to choose marriage over other relationships.

Bravo on a very pragmatic solution from the Dutch.

At first I thought it would be better for children to be born in wedlock, because the parents would stay together and raise the child properly. Then I realized that divorce is rather common.

So, yes, I agree with Vos.

Summary: There is a huge inflow of people from former Dutch colonies as those are still part of the Dutch kingdom and therefor have the right to move here still, and among those groups there is a huge percentage of kids who view sex the 'MTV way', where girls are 'bitches' with whom you can have sex whenever you like.
Among this group there is a rising percentage of child mothers (single parents), and therefor gay marriage is bad.

Logical, isn't it?

Just like because Katarina made the oil prices rise gay marriage is bad, and because <insert whatever you like> gay marriage is bad.
