Interesting anecdote about "religious folk".

That doesn't really have anything to do with the statement "I think it's a safe bet that Christians outnumber far-leftists". I suppose you're implying that all Christians must be far right, but they're not.

It doesn't imply anything he said at all actually.

As a (Catholic) Christian and someone who leans to the left politically, I find it hard to disagree here. Touché. Anyone that has worked in retail/foodservice on a Sunday afternoon or Wedensday evening in evangelical-land can tell you many similar behavioral anecdotes. Sigh. Sometimes we are our most effective counter-witness to the gospel message.

Far lefty people have far surpassed far-righties. Average of the blue is roughly at 2/10, while average of the right is roughly 6.5/10.

As already pointed out, the far left isn't even represented in your chart. There are no representatives at the federal level that qualify as far left. Meanwhile, the far right starts roughly somewhere between the median Democrat and the median Republican on that chart. Probably closer to the median Democrat than the median Republican. I wouldn't be surprised if it started left of the median Democrat. I don't know of a single federal level Republican that doesn't hold at least some far right positions.

Guys, this wasn't really meant to be a political thread. I said nothing about left/right leanings of Christians. Someone made a jab about Marxists, and the thread kinda devolved from there.

If the mods want to move this to P&N, I have no complaints, but I'll have to bow out.
