Yeah, this is old (in internet terms). It goes beyond simple photochopping and extends into staging/misrepresenting photos in Lebanon to the benefit of Hezbollah too.

I don't think they're doing it to try to benefit Hezbollah though, I think they're just photographers who want to talk award-winning photos, or the "definitive" photo of the event, like the fireman with the baby after the OKC bombing or the American flag after 9/11. It's not partisanship or hatred of jews or what have you, it's just greed.
