I saw this video somewhere else. It's interesting to see the interaction between everyone at the store. It's like a different world. If this was a scene from a movie set in the 1980's, but made in the 2000's, everyone would complain about how unrealistic the characters and situation is.

A much different time. Life was grand back then.

If I could go back in time I'd go back to the 1950's. Such a peaceful time. Jobs were plentiful. People opened their doors to everybody. :(

I need to take vids around town of people just doing their thing.

20, 30 years from now it may be amusing.

The best part was handing over a dollar... and getting change back!

Oh but inflation is good for the economy!

Wonder if it got more or less efficient to make a Slurpee and soda since 1987.

Not only have all the production gains been stolen from folks buying this stuff, they are also paying 2-3x more for what now takes less energy and manpower to make and transport.

Gotta say, you didn't take long to get on my ignore list. Glad I've done that tho.

People are still talkative and friendly like this, but they don't recognize it because when black or Hispanic people get together with family and friends, white people become afraid. Not to mention that the cameraman and his friends are taking all the initiative here. Obviously you can't just waltz into some random 7-11 and expect everyone to smile and chat you up if you aren't outgoing and don't give the effort.
