Come on, who isn`t interested in the KT266A based motherboards? :)

Soyo's response today:

"Soyo's SY-K7V-Dragon Plus which feature VIA KT266A will be available by
Mid-October time frame. Thanks."

Shuttle's response today:

"Many thanks for your interest in our products.

The KT266A based board is in production stage and you may expect it
available in the market by the end of Sept or the early October. Please keep
an eye on our web site, www.shuttleonline.com"

I`ll post more as I am notified from the other Manuf.'s.

Looks as though the end of the month is the earliest.

Guess I`ll be looking at a AMD760 or KT266 based motherboard... :(

Not sure about U.S. $, but I`m guessing around $200 Canadian w/out RAID, sound, etc.

A friend of mine just got two bad ECS sis735 boards, and I have a hard time recommending a kt266 board when kt266a is right around the corner.... but he wants something so bad. Crappy place to be right now.

One of these will probably be my next board. Will likely go Abit or Epox w/RAID. I've gotta see the benches between them and the upcoming nForce mobo's though...no reason to ignore such a potentially powerful chipset. :D
