Wow! Something even more useless than RC5! :p

Seriously, what's the point?

Fun. The thrill of the hunt. The insatiable need to accomplish things in a pack. What is the point of any other game?

Thats my guess anyhow. I signed up, but didnt play with it much.

It'd be so much easier to just type hacking - shorter too.

But as "wastes of time" go, perhaps I'll take a look at it this weekend. :)

It moght be fun if it was just my time, but I don't want to waste my comptuers' time on it.

And come to think of it, couldn't the guy running this forward all hacking attempts to any server he wanted to hack?

It doesn't use your CPU to simulated hacking. You sign up for a mission such as "find Joe Smith" and you have to hack into a server and find out where his kidnappers have taken him. All you actually do is sign up for the mission. There is not a whole lot to it...

Okay, so why does it take 2 or more hours to complete a mission? Does it just run a sleep command?

I can't even get past the first page

Think I'll stick with my day job and won't try a career in hacking :)

Not that I can get to this page, but a very good game one of my friends found that involves hacking etc, is a game called Uplink

This game has dissolved many hours of my, and my friend's, life :)

To each his own. :)

I didnt look at it much, but Im not sure if it takes "real" hacking skills.
