You already know more about this crap than I ever will, take it from a real disgusted computer/internet user.

Take a POLL. Ask what peolpe freakin hate. You know what they'll say?...Make it easier, there is no need for all this xtra crap that a USER has to do,It is your responsibilty to do the best job you can for CONSUMERS,,if your in it for the money,,Then you'll be one of the Sh8thead8 that gets a real irate email from me, a real disgusted consumer. Two ways to do it,take the money and run,,,or do your job. This seem harsh, maybe it is,it's the way I feel..But I also know one thing that Capitalism thrives on ,and thats ignorance.

are you drunk? that sure as hell makes no sense...

her..

I found all those collegesyou guys mentioned..the best ones so far seem to be rochester and rose-hulman. someone mentioned earlier that rochester is #2..well hulman is #1 so I'm gonna shoot for that school I think, but I'm sure both schools offer an excellent education so I'd be happy if I got into either. Thanks for your help!

There are 3 things you want to look at when your're looking at a potential college, and U.S. News rankings is only one of them

1. Location: Where do you want to be. How close/far do you want to be from home/family/friends? What type of climate is the school in? Do you know anyone that lives in the area, or someone else from your high school that's going? Sometimes it's hard to go where you know no one. Sometimes it's easier. Depends on the type of person.

2. The school itself. Does it have your major? If you change your major, does it have the other areas your looking at? What's your impression of the faculty, how's the food/clubs/athletics/dorms? Are you interested in co-op's? What type of co-op's and with what companies does the school deal with?

Probably the biggest:
3. What do you expect upon graduation? Alumni associations, corporate partners that regularly hire. I keep hearing that Harvey-Mudd is a great school, and it probably is, but if you're coming to NY, the companies over here aren't as familiar with it and if it came down to a HM grad or an RIT grad for a job, the RIT guy probably has the upper hand. Schools like Penn State, Texas A&M have HUGE alumni associations and are well known throughout the country as great engineering schools. What companies hire grads from the school? What grad schools typically accept students from the undergrad program you're considering?

Hope this helps.
