Hey all been here along time (although been a while since I logged in and forgot my username or connects to email I no longer have access to)...
Anyways has there been talk of setting up a pinned thread for readings taken from KillAWatt (or similar devices) for your setups? Would be interesting to see usage among various users and systems, and how swapping certain hardware can change power usage, and how to get a low draw drawing gaming system.
I myself have 5 systems I can report about, ranging from a basic OEM Core i3 work station that draws 18W idle to my main Core-i5 (budget build) gaming system that draws up to 167W with certain games. Also have an old P4 3.06GHz system that runs at 86W idle. Let me know if theres any interest, I may start it off with my system details and power draw of each system.
