interactive media station audio question

I am building interactive media stations for the place I work. They will hide underneath desks and will be attached to a 21" LCD in the hallway. These will be shown to clients. I'd like to have sound from these computers. The speakers can be hung from the ceiling, but this needs to be aesthetically pleasing as possible. I have also heard of a dome shaped plastic thing you would put over where people are standing so that the sound only stays in that area and can't be heard 10' away. Does anyone have any ideas on how I should set this up? The monitors will be facing hallways around the office.
