Intense painful headaches lasting 5-10 secs

It fits the bill for cluster headaches, periods of dromancy, pain, etc
but they "only" last 5-10 seconds and they've always happened during the day....

I may get it a couple of times a year unexpectedly probably for the past 10 years or so

I've never had a traditional migraine where hours of throbbing

This is like 5 -10 secs of God stabbing a knife and twisting it around the front of my brain and then around my eye... after the 10 secs, everything goes back to normal...

There is no lead in time either - can be in midsentence or cooking or whatever, and then BAM

Anyone have any idea what I am talking about ?

Happens to me when I travel in the plane.... I cant open my eyes then...

Never had that happen to me, but recently I've been getting this throbbing in my left eye that continues on and off for about 5 minutes. It mostly happens at the CRT screen.

You might wanna get that checked out. Ive gotten painful headaches before
and they last way more than 5-10 secs. Your doctor could probably set u
up with some good drugs to make it go away.

migrane

see a doctor, they have medicine for that
it lowers your blood pressure

basically, the pain is from blood rushing about the wrong way, something like that

thx for tips
Haven't had a head injury in a while
guessing not blood pressure or stroke related as it's always under calm conditions (never during exercise) tho bloodflwo, who knows. I am <30 so chance of stroke prob not too high but perfectly valid idea at this point. No insurance for doctor so that's why I am using AT diagnosis method atm 🙂
The mystery continues
