Intense car vandalism...has this ever happened to you?

i was in the best buy parking lot and i passed a car that had F YOU keyed in giant letters across the trunk. the sides of the car had lines drawn all over it but im pretty sure the trunk was the only bit with full words of hatred.
now, assuming he didnt just hate the world at large and someone did this to his car, thats a pretty intense bit of vandalism. its so dramatic ala movies/television that i had trouble understanding that it was real.

has this sort of thing ever happened to anyone here?
 
That would suck.

Did the car stand out in any way, or was it just a normal looking econobox?
 
One time nature got pissed at me, and dumped golfball sized hail all over my car. 🙁

The worst I would ever do to someone's car is Saran Wrapping it. I can't imagine being so pissed I would key their car.
 
When I was a senior in high school, I came out to my car after working on the school paper one day and found that my car had been walked on (there were footprints on the hood, roof and trunk, and there were dents from the weight of the 'walker') and my windshield had been shattered. Now, considering that my car was parked in the front row of the parking not, not 300 yards from the school, I would think somone would have seen it. Unfortunately, no one ever came forward.

There was about $2500 worth of damage to the car, luckily Allstate paid for it all with no deductible. Unfortunately, the perp was never found. If some good did come out of the situation, however, I was able to develop a good relationship with my school liasion police officer because of it.
 
My fiance's (now wife) brand new (at the time) 2003 Corolla was parked on the main road in our condo complex. One night, some punks decided it would be fun to run a key down every car on the road. I wish I saw them doing it so I could personally put my foot through their skull.
 
Worst vandalism I ever had was when Mother Nature put a big, frozen snowdrift in the road I was cookin down at about 80. After jumping like Dukes of Hazard 3 times I came down sideways and rolled 4 or 5 times. Damn you Mother Nature, I want my car back. 🙁
 
Somebody wrote 'Asswipe' on my Speed Triple's mirror - it makes me laugh everytime I see it, so I've left it there for three years.
 
I parked my car at a friends house for a night. When I went out to get in it the next day, some one had broken both side mirrors off the car. The drivers side one was dangling by the control cable, the other one was long gone. I filed a police report and the cops did nothing, not even bothering to drive the 1-2miles from the police station to the site.

I wish I could find who did it...I'd show them what vandalism really was.
