I havent exactly found a english source, it's in german, I'm sure it could be found in english though. According to thishttp://www.gamestar.de/news/pc/hardware/cpus/intel_neue_penryn_cpus/77504/intel_neue_penryn_cpus.html website, who have their information from the intel developer forum, penryn's will perform 40% better then the current Core 2 Extreme cpu's.
According to this website, in Dutch, SUE ME, theres rumors from intel insiders, that intel is wants to put a 'weird' hybrid 65nm cpu on the market. It will run at 2.8ghz with a 800 or 1066MHZ busspeed, on a 2 or 4mb version. It's supposed to be competition for AMD's x2 cpu's. Its still unknown how much this cpu ought to cost.
