Intellitext blocker...does it exist?

Pop-ups and shockwave ads I can deal with, but this Intellitext nonsense has got to stop! It seems like every website I go to anymore has a minefield of Intellitext to carefully move your mouse around, and on some news posts it is getting ever more difficult to find the actual link to the news. My questions is does an Intellitext blocker exist? I love pop-up blockers and one can uninstall/reinstall flash as needed, so this would be the last killer app in the ongoing fight to minimize annoyances in my Online life. Thank you.
