IntelliMouse problems in Win2k

I just did a few of those regedit hacks from the tips and tricks for Windows 2000 Professional thread, now after resetting my computer, my intellimouse autoscroll button doesnt work! I have reinstalled the drivers for it, but that didnt work. I think the problem has to do with either all the regediting I did, or from installing Tweak UI (which I also did last night). Anyone experience any simular problems and/or have any ideas? I dont know how much longer I can go on living without my autoscroll button! 😉

make this a note to Always backup your registry before you start editing your registry.

Uninstall the mouse, reboot and let Win2k detect the mouse for you.

Yeah, I tried unintalling the mouse and letting windows autodetect. That still didnt work. So I ended up unpluging the mouse, booting up with no mouse, then shutting down, re-attaching the mouse, and oddly enough, when I booted up, it worked fine.
