Alright folks I haven't posted for help in a long while, but this one has got me stumped. I have three Intelli mice: Explorer=WinME , Opticals=98SE, Optical=Win2K. Using the 3.2 intellipoint software under WinME when you go to the mouse configuration under the control panel the general tab where you select which mouse you use from the drop down menu, my menu is completely blank. The mouse works but I can't map any of the buttons.

just a ^
that's pretty freaky...i got my explorer when they first came out, and the install disk that came in the box gives a "wrong windows version" <edit> in Win ME </edit> upon installation, but nothing as wacky as what you are describing. You've reinstalled the software and possibly the OS and the problem persists? Scary...

Darth_Maul - I had this problem except it showed a few mouse types but not the Explorer!. I dl'd version 3.2 and it works fine now. It must be something else causing the conflict. Suppose you tried pulling the mouse out of the USB socket and inserting it again!

I had the same problem too. I could access Explorer, and something else, but not Optical. If I remember right I removed the software from Add/Remove programs, removed the mouse from the device manager, then rebooted and reinstalled the software.
