Here is my Intellimouse mod for the 3.0 version. I did it to the original Intellimouse, but it is old so I got the 3.0 and had to put a fan in it too.

just what I've been needing! but I think it must still get kind of annoying, especially having the coolness focused on one small point...
here's what I want: an intellimouse w/ intellieye with a heatsink formed to the shape of the top of the mouse, then fan cooling that, so the entire top surface is cooled evenly and gently
