Intellimouse light stuck on?

Got up today and it was like this. Mouse works fine, the light is just on all the time instead of when you move it. Rebooting didn't help. Is it dying on me?

No, the newer ones don't shut off. At least none of mine do anymore.
 
Mine is always on aswell. Also if you plug into the PS2 port it will be on even if the the PC is turned off.
 
Same here - the LED is always on - movement just makes it brighter.

How long have you had it? Maybe you just didn't notice there was a light always on. Mine has never turned off.
