Intellimouse Explorer Wheel Sticky?

My Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer mouse whell is really sticky. So much that when I roll it, I end up pushing it in. Is there any way to fix this? Will microsoft replace the mouse because it seems like a hardware failure to me...
 
They will replace it for sure. Check the hot deals thread out on how to do it. Have you taken it apart and tried to clean it yet?
