Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 button remapping

Is it possible to remap the buttons(thumb buttons) on this thing? In the Intellipoint software I see where you can set it for certain tasks(minimize window etc) but I want to use it for games. So is there anyway to assign them to say Z and C or the left and right arrow?

Its just easier to set them up in the games your play.

Use intellipoint 4.12 and you'll have far more options for mapping them. Set them to f11 and f12 or something, then set f11 and f12 to whatever function you want them to do in the gaem.

The new version doesn't have the keystroke option, but the older version does. I had to go back to the older.
