Hi,
Can anyone help me find information on intelligent disk controllers. I've allready been looking all over the internet and in multiple books, but am unable to find anything usefull.
Any info would be welcome.

Greetings,

lmao

I have absolutely no idea what an intelligent disk controller is tbh...
I've got to do an assignment on it for school, but I've never heared of it.
Can't find anything on google, nor in books on computerarchitecture...
I've allready mailed some people that work in the pc-branche, but they can't help me either.
That's why I'm asking you guys 🙂

Edit: All i've got is: External memory: intelligent disk controllers

Edit2: I've found this: http://www.diskeeper.com/fragbook/chapter1.htm (not enough info at all)

Dude, you're new here, so I'll be friendly ...

You should have read the advisory for this HIGHLY TECHNICAL section by now, which essentially says that this here REALLY ISN'T the homework channel.

Googled for SCSI or RAID yet?

SCSI and RAID are not disk controls. No less inteleigent. I think he is more looking for information on how the hard drive heads is scheduled to maximims data transfer rates.

I've been looking for the subject for weeks now and haven't found anything...
If you've got a better source for things like this, why don't you tell me then.
