We've learned a lot lot from these intelligence leaks, but perhaps the scariest thing is that it came from an employee of a private contactor.

Indeed there are thousands and thousands of contractors with top secret clearance. They profit by the amount of data they analyze - our data.

So there's a profit motive for prying. Woohoo!

Edit: I guess the NSA can't handle all that data alone, but is this kind of outsourcing a good idea?

More than a million people have top secret clearance, hundreds of thousands of whom are contractors.

There will be more leaks and as more information is gathered they will be more damning.

i cant believe anyone here.. on this tech site, is suprised, this is day 1 stuff you guys.

I feel that I should own and have control of my own data. Record companies do, publishers do, software companies are well protected.

Do only those who make money off of their data deserve these rights?
