Agreed. I don't know that it even helps to ban it. It seems to have a few IPs at it's disposal.
 
its probably not so much IP`s they have at there disposal its most likely that fact that they are probably 56k.....

imo you should go through the whole thread and slap a one week ban and a final warning on all the trolls in that thread. If you don't agree with something someone said then the correct behaviour is to ignore it, not spam endless argumentative posts. By taking no action anandtech is effectively saying pointless arguing is fine so that's exactly what you'll get everytime rollo or some other user who provokes opinion posts.

OMG "Intelia", those were some funny days on the OC forum indeed. That was the funniest troll i had ever seen, as in I had never read so much trash from one user before, and the fact that they stuck by their guns all the way through even when proven wrong. :laugh:

I did warn them, and they said he has to screw up their before they will ban him.

Of course, they deleted about 10 of his posts, so maybe he did.

He's on B3d too, he posted that I got him banned here because he said ATI cards were OK. :roll:

I think it's funny how much I apparently get to you. You don't see me seeking you out and posting in your threads?

In a way, I have a lot of control over how you spend your time. All I have to do is post, and you start foaming at the mouth like a rabid little monkey and posting several insults.

I think the board, and the mods, can see which of us is the better to have around.

Does that include Rollo himself? He's just as guilty of trolling (perhaps even moreso, since he apparently started it in that thread) as anyone else.

I am actually in support of this idea... Except, I would have it be a little more civil, like "Forum Idiot" or something like that... I guess it is not possible to keep this user banned. It sure would be nice if we could... However, I believe that the mods had notified his ISP...

I cannot wait for the day when getting on the internet requires proper access and when people can no longer hide behind anonymous handles... Yes, truly, I cannot wait. That is the reason the internet is bogus and why most people act like children.

All they care about is there almighty dollar....
Sorry but thats the truth most ISP just laugh at people who notify them of a customers improper behavior unless the law or some government agency gets incolved....

the mods only make occasional forays into Video and i am sure they don't read your posts.
