I am configuring this baby on Dell's website and can't decide. The Quadro has 128MB dedicated RAM, but I heard it's on the slow side even for Vista Aero (although I'm getting the lappy with XP for now).

Obviosly I won't game on this laptop, as I'm getting the 1440x900 screen and these cards probably won't handle even old games in this resolution.

Any thoughts?

Yeah, but if it accelerates stuff decently, I'll take it for the better battery life. That's what I wanted to know.

According to a few reviews (including Anandtech), Intel GMA X3000/3100 isn't all that power efficient for an integrated solution. Its mediocre at best.
