Does anyone remember what the last two digits of the model number mean? I have a choice between GN, GC, and LE. I've always bought the GN but now I cannot find the page that describes these letters.

Full model number is SSDSA2M080G2GN

It could be nothing more than the packaging or distribution channel. For example: OEM, Boxed/Retail. Etc.

G2 means the second generation of the X25-M, which supports TRIM and uses 34nm MLC NAND if i am not mistaken.

Ye, it just packaging. GC is OEM for example.

Then there was all kinds of package types. Retail, brown cardboard box only, with mounting kit etc.
