Intel X25-M SSD

Thats the 7.xmm OEM drive (includes the spacer) and the retail drive (includes the spacer and the mounting adaptor). Both are 080G2 drives. Prices are down closer to acceptable, but still too high.

I got it for $250 2nd day air from mwave. They had $10 off $100 and 2bd day air was $10. For $25 over with 2nd day air, I cannot complain too much. I am doing a phased upgrade. SSD and HD5850 now. i7 upgrade early next year unless a mega deal comes out.

always do phased upgrades 🙂
no point in just throwing your money on non useful hardware because the calendar said, or because you upgraded one single component worth upgrading

"SSDSA2MH080G2R5"

In that serial number, is the bolded part indicative that its a 2nd generation drive? I don't know how to tell for certain.
