I thought I saw someplace a review showing its actually slower using a hardware raid card with SSD like pair of Intel X25-M drivers vs on-board or no raid
I was thinking about the Adaptec 5405 adding to my main system with Raid 0 of 2 Intel X25-M drives as can get sample from my work for no charge.
Trouble is if actually slows down loading levels in games like CoD 4/5, FarCry2, Fear2 and so on - no want to switch or add that into my system.
what you guys think, nearly always hardware is much better solution, however are SSD not true of the same, also does anything know of reviews then showing this to be so???
