Intel X-25M 80GB - possible 25nm issues?

Given the performance issues with the current Vertex 2E 25nm SSDs (http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2142163), perhaps an Intel G2 34nm X-25M 80GB is a better bet, in case the forthcoming 25nm G3 has similar issues, unless one is prepared to wait another six months or so for Intel to sort out the 25nm-related teething problems?
