I have cisco E2000 router and Intel Wifi Link 5100 (wireless N adapter). I've played around settings, updated drivers but cannot get more than 150mbps. On my wife's laptop, she's getting 300mbps (atheros wifi adapter).

Is this because Intel 5100 only support up to 150mbps? on their website, it says it supports up to 300mb...

do i have to adjust the settings? help me

There might be a setting that disables 40MHz connections, allowing it only to connect at 150mbps/20MHz. Go into the device properties and take a look. I think my Intel 5300 had this issue.

I think this too. Go to device properties of the wifi card. Then go to the advanced tab, change the channel width from 20mhz to auto or 20/40mhz for 2.4ghz.
